process

What you can expect from a relationship with GFP Alliance.

Phase 1
We get to know you and you get to know us. You share your concerns, goals, wish list and worst nightmares and we share issues and concerns we see and suggest a range of potential solutions at the high level. Up until this point, the relationship is between two parties ascertaining whether there is potential for a longer-term relationship. If we agree that there is a good match between your concerns, needs and goals and our capabilities and there is chemistry between us we move to the next phase of our relationship by mutual agreement. This initial dialogue is complimentary and enables each of us to ascertain if there is value for us to become more actively engaged.
Phase 2
Gaining a better understanding of ALL of the issues, documents and background. In addition to information gathering, this scoping phase, allows us to develop reasoned solutions and recommendations about specific issues and the priority sequence of solutions. In this phase, we will assemble the team of experts and advisors all the time in constant dialogue with you. We will provide a fixed fee estimate for the scoping phase which is dependent on the scope of the agreed engagement.


Phase 3
Includes preparation of a comprehensive financial, estate and wellness plan selecting from among a range of solutions and service providers. We will recommend the most effective external providers and negotiate on your behalf the most cost-effective solution. If our partner alliance is used you may benefit from reduced fees, however where we do not have a service provider that can deliver best of class service, we will provide a range of options and pricing for your consideration. We will actively manage the implementation of each aspect of your plan and provide you with an estimate of the costs of implementation inclusive of our fee and those of external suppliers. When we negotiate fees on your behalf external providers often provide preferential pricing based on the understanding that GFP Alliance provides them with extensive due diligence, background checks, legal and tax opinions, completes application forms, etc.
Phase 4
Once all the planning is complete, the solutions put in place, service providers are in place and performing well, GFP Alliance provides ongoing compliance and review of the planning, solutions and performance of the service providers.
